Hanita 2008
Situated on Israel's northern border 19 km' north of Nahariya. Hanita's closest neighbor is the village of Alma-A-shab in Southern Lebanon just 2 km' away. Hanita sits atop a mountain some 350 meter's above sea level. As can be seen by the picture below, the views are breathtaking.
There are 356 members with a total of 119 children amongst the 582 people living on Hanita today, The rest of the number being made up of tenants and volunteers. Most of the members and some of the tenants work in Hanita's various industries, comprising "Hanita Coatings", "Hanita Lenses" , Banana's and various other agricultural enterprises.
