Founded in 1938 Hanita stands 370 meters above sea level with probably one of the most breathtaking views in Israel, overlooking Shlomi, Nahariya, Acre, Krayot and Haifa. Hanita's nearest neighbor is the Lebanese village of Alma-a-shaab just 2 km away.

On Hanita we have two factories, Hanita coatings and Hanita lenses.
We also have a a few cottage industries like Tush-a-tu, Cadnita, Hanita capentry , Chocolat Babet and of course we must not forget Agriculture as we grow some of the finest Banana's, Avocado and Citrus fruits.
